Posted by Woody Barber on February 07, 2004 at 17:39:

When corydoras were bagged for transport with sharks (rainbow, etc.)the results were dead sharks, within minutes. I placed a corydora in a container with a shark, and within a few minutes, the shark was experiencing distress, and would have died had I not removed it. What could have caused this? No other fish were affected.

Posted by Danny Browne on June 17, 2004 at 11:31:

In Reply to: Algae posted by Steve on February 15, 2004 at 22:27:

the only thing i can suggest is two buy algae eating fish such as chinesse algae eaters or even shrimps or craps alternativly clean the tank of all algae and dont let any light into the tank for two days.
P.s high phosphate levels cause algae to grow have you checked your levels (phosphate may be spelt wrong but that is a how its pronounced!)
