    Filter Question

    Hi!

I take care of the office fish and am underqualified to do so!

We moved floors not so long ago and ever since, the amount of water being circulated through the filter has decreased to a trickle. I've changed the filter twice and cleaned the pipes out. I cannot figure out why the water is just dripping out.

We have a betta, a goldfish and a hoover fish in there. They seem okay, but I would hate for this problem to continue.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

What type of filter are you using?
who made it and what model, if there is one.
perhaps the motor is needing repairs? how old is the filter.

    What size tank also.

    Hello!
It's a ten gallon tank. The filters are Tetra whisper Bio-Bag with the carbon inserts.

I spoke to someone at the fish store, they didn't think the motor needed changing.

The trickle of water has improved somewhat.

Thanks for any help you could give me!

I would invest in an aquaclear 150 probably. i had a whisper filter on my ten gallon tank and it never worked properly. 16.99 at thatpetplace.com
