    Mixture of equipment.

I use these items from the studio to get the proper video I want.

    Sony PD170
    Mackie 1402 vlz mixer
    4 crown mikes, sometimes 5
    AudioTechniques long shotgun
up to 2 Sony wireless mikes
Manfroto tripod with remote control unit
    Sony headphones

If I have someone talking at a podium, I tape a wireless mic to the podium.

I use the crowns for table and audience.
I use the shotgun on a mic stand next to me so I can swing it at unsuspected audio sources.

I usually put 1 wireless on the left channel devoted to whoever is at the podium. I run the rest of the mics including other wireless mics through the mixer.

I set auto-gain on the mixer but off for the wireless.

Just some info about what I do with the equipment I use.
